New Elise Car Aerial

Original Elise Aerial
I've never been a huge fan of the long aerial sticking up on the back of the Elise. For me it makes the otherwise sporty appearance of the Lotus look a little like a cross between a remote control car and a puppy wagging its tail. An image I’ve struggled to shake from my mind after someone pointed it out...

Evo Lotus Evora Competition - Part 2

Ice White Lotus Evora S
Having made it through the first round of the competition (read Evo Lotus Evora Competition - Part 1), the next phase saw the initial 200 word entries judged by Evo's editorial team. Around 125 people were picked for the second phase which was to take an Evora S for a test drive and write a short review. Interesting ad in the latest Evo Magazine, "Win a Lotus Evora S for a year!". Umm, yes please. Now I know I already own an Elise and pairing that with a free Evora could be seen as greedy, but I'm a petrol head and any opportunity like this simply cannot be ignored. As my Dad always says, "Opportunities pass, they don't pause".

The competition winner obviously receives a Lotus Evora S for a period of 12 months but in addition to that there is a requirement to attend series of events and report back.

Clarke Jumpstart 910

It's not that I was ungrateful to my parents, who quite simply wanted to see me arrive on time when I came to visit, but rather that I lived in a one bed flat and it came in a bloody great big box.

I've now had the Jumpstart for just over a year and it's proven to be a valuable asset when starting the Elise; as well as several other
